About me

Maggana Panagiota

Psychologist MSc, Cognitive Behavioral & Schema Therapy

I was born and raised in Athens, Greece. I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology in 2015 through the four-year program at the Department of Psychology (BSc) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I then pursued a master’s degree in social psychology (MSc) at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Following this, I specialized Schema Therapy from the Dutch Institute of Schema Therapy and in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy at the Hellenic Association for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (GACBP), in accordance with the standards of the European Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT).

Since 2013 my experience journey has taken me through various settings, including rehabilitation & professional re-integration centres, schools, the corporate world and my own private practice. I work as a psychologist with specialised training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Schema Therapy offering online psychotherapy and counseling sessions to adults, parents, Greeks living abroad, and students.

As member of the Netherlands Institute of Psychologist NIP (Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen), the largest professional association of psychologists in the country, I am committed to maintain high standards of professional practice and continuous professional development.
